Will this work with my POS system?
Yes. hbill works alongside every POS system that handles sales: Square, Tyro, Zeller, Lightspeed, Shopify POS, Clover, Toast, Kounta, Vend, and hundreds more. There is no integration or software connection required. hbill is a standalone device that sits next to your register.
Do my customers need to download anything?
No. Customers tap their phone on the tile and the receipt opens instantly. No app download, no account creation, no email address required. It works on most modern smartphones.
How long does setup take?
About five minutes. Place the tile next to your register, connect it to your WiFi, and you are done. No technician visit, no configuration call, no disruption to your team.
Are the receipts accepted for tax records and expenses?
Yes. Every receipt issued through hbill includes the standard details required for expense claims and tax records: business name, date, itemised goods or services, and applicable tax amounts.
What does it cost?
The tile is $39 up front and the plan is $20 per month per device, with the first 30 days free. There is no monthly charge until your trial ends. Cancelling during the free trial is completely free.
Where is my data stored?
All receipt data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Every receipt is cryptographically signed so it cannot be altered after issue. Your business data is stored on Australian-based infrastructure and is never sold or shared with third parties.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. You can cancel from your dashboard or by emailing us. Cancelling during the 30-day free trial is completely free with no charges. After that, cancel anytime with no fees.
Can I get multiple tiles?
Yes. You can order multiple tiles at checkout. If you have more registers or locations, contact us and we can set you up with the right number of devices for your business.
When does billing start?
Billing begins after your 30-day free trial period ends.
What support is available?
Our team is available for setup inquiries between 8:00am and 5:00pm AEST. Self-service setup guides are also available.
